Liquid Gold, Er' Green...aka Liquid Chlorophyll!
Green foods are sadly the most missing in modern diets, yet they are the most essential in creating optimal health and longevity. When you nourish yourself with greens, you will naturally crowd out the foods that make you sick. Greens help build your internal rainforest and strengthen the blood and respiratory system. Green is related to the liver, emotional stability and creativity. Eating green vegetables is numero uno, but I'm gonna tell you a magically alkalizing and easy way to get a little more green into your diet...liquid chlorophyll! No, not chloroform, that would be bad. I'm talking about chlorophyll..the good stuff, the green stuff!I started drinking liquid chlorophyll a few years ago after a surgery that I had. A friend recommended that I add a tablespoon to 8 oz. of water daily (post surgery) as a way to speed up the healing process and prevent scaring, it worked like a champ, and I never looked back. What I didn't know at the time was how many additional benefits this superfood contained... 1. Promotes healthy levels of iron! Great for all humans...especially us pregnant women or those who are anemic! 2. Relieves redness and swelling. 3. Stops candida from growing....healthy belly, healthy body! 4. Stimulates liver detoxification and protects against carcinogens, which in turn is thought to help to prevent cancer and other illnesses. 5. It's loaded with powerful antioxidants that assist in the natural healing process! 6. Manages hunger and cravings which is proven to assist in weight loss and help to maintain a healthy weight over time. 7. Cleans your body from the inside out creating harmony on the inside and clearer skin on the outside! Chlorophyll binds with toxic metals to hinder absorption by your body. In the same way, it also protects your body from fried foods and carcinogens. 8. Alleviates constipation, controls body odor (gas) and bad breath.
With so many amazing benefits I really would suggest getting yourself a bottle from your nearest health food store (we like De Souza's brand because it doesn't contain gelatin or have a weird minty taste) and trying it out for yourself. I add mine to water, yogurt, smoothies...you name it!
