I love a good cocktail but making individual drinks for a big party is a major drag if you are trying to enjoy the party, not bartend it. This New Year's Eve, throw the party and enjoy it too with this easy and tasty recipe for Gin and Pomegranate Punch. The secret to this recipe is using Bar Hill Gin which is made with juniper and raw honey. I find it to be a little more delicate and less botanical than most gins, making it a good choice for even non-gin lovers.
Serves 12 Ingredients: 2 pomegranates worth of seeds (about 2 cups) 48 fluid ounces POM 100% pomegranate juice 3 cups Bar Hill Gin 2 cups cold black tea 1/2 cup Chambord liqueur 1/4 cup St. Germain liqueur
Directions: For the ice ring (make the night before): Use any kind of bundt pan and fill with pomegranate seeds. Pour POM juice over the seeds until you've filled the bundt pan. Freeze until ready to use. For the punch: Using your favorite punch bowl, pour in the remaining POM juice, gin, black tea, Chambord, and St. Germain. Stir well. Add pomegranate ice ring and drink up!
